CBSE Term 2 Date Sheet 2022: Released for Class 10, 12 practical exams, to be conducted from March 2

CBSE Term 2 Date Sheet 2022 for Class 10, 12 Practical Examinations has now been announced by the board. In an official notice, CBSE has shared that the Internal examination for Class 10 and practical examination for Class 12 would begin from March 2. The schools are required to complete the practical exams 10 days before the respective class' theory exams end.
Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Term 2 date sheet 2022 has been released for the practical examination. In an official notification released, the board has confirmed that the CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 2 practical exams would begin from March 2, 2022. The board has also released guidelines for conducting the practical, internal examination for CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 2 examinations.
As per the official notice, the schools are required to conduct the practical examination from March 2, 2022 and 10 days before the end of the respective class’ theory examination. While the board in an official notification last week confirmed that the CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 2 Exams 2022 would begin from April 26, detailed date sheet is still awaited. The last date for the practical exams, hence, would be based on the theory date sheet. Guidelines for conducting the exams are listed below.
CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 2 Practical Exams/ Internal Exams – Guidelines
For Class 10 Regular candidates, the internal examination would be conducted by the schools and the marks would be uploaded. The practical exam would also be as per the curriculum designed for Term 2. Notice regarding the same was earlier shared.
As for Class 12 Regular candidates, external examiners would be assigned but the practical exams. Both Class 10 and 12 practical examinations would be conducted in the schools. All COVID protocols would be followed at the schools.
For the private candidates, no practical examination would be conducted. The marks would be carried forward from the result 2020-21. Private candidates are not required to appear for any practical examination. As for private candidates who appeared for the examination before 2020-21, the marks would be given on pro-rata basis.
Answer books would be supplied by the regional offices and the schools are to ensure that they are filled correctly. Examiners would be assigned by CBSE and schools cannot make ‘alternative arrangement’. The schools would make internal examiner as well while the board would have an Observer and an External Examiner.
Students may please note that the individual dates for the individual schools are not set by the board for the practical examination. The schools would, in consultation with the external examiner assigned, set a date for the Class 10, 12 practical exam. CBSE Term 2 Date sheet for theory papers would be released by the board on cbse.gov.in soon.
